Belgian broadcaster VRT is due to launch an OTT solution in partnership with video services firm Piksel.
The national public broadcaster said it will use the project to satisfy the growing need for video-on-demand (VOD), catch-up and live content on multiple devices.
“This is a very important project for VRT, and one that takes our business to the forefront of technology in this industry,” said VRT project manager Tom Caljon.
Piksel has been tasked with developing a customised end-to-end solution for VRT based on its video content management system.
